Enhancing Academic Collaboration- Renowned Professor Bao-Lian Su Leads Delegation to OAE Publishing for Strategic Partnership
On November 2, 2024, OAE Publishing Inc.(China) had the privilege of welcoming an esteemed delegation of scholars, including Professor Bao-Lian Su, a Fellow of the European Academy and the Royal Academy of Belgium, and Editor-in-Chief of Chemical Synthesis (CS), Professor Jinping Li, the Vice Secretary of the Party Committee at Taiyuan University of Technology; Professors Qingbiao Li and Feifei Zhang from Xiamen University and Taiyuan University of Technology, respectively; and Dr. Zili Zhang, a special guest. The visit provided a significant platform for engaging in profound discussions and sharing valuable academic insights.
Upon their arrival, the guests were warmly welcomed by Mr. Min Fan, CEO of OAE Publishing, Publisher Ms. Haidi Ding, and key members of the senior leadership team. Ms. Jing Li guided the visitors on an informative tour of the OAE China Office, where they were able to observe the working environment, appreciate cultural exhibits, and delve into the journey of OAE Publishing’s development, strategic alliances, and future aspirations.

The tour was succeeded by a strategic meeting in the conference room, attended by the heads of various departments. Mr. Fan kicked off the session by delineating OAE Publishing’s mission, its flagship journals, and the breadth of its endeavors, emphasizing the organization’s pledge to drive academic innovation and cultivate a culture of global scholarly collaboration. Ms. Li then delved into the latest developments in digital publishing, with a focus on enhancing the user experience, ensuring accessibility, and strengthening global scholarly networks.

Ms. Siqing Hu, Managing Editor of CS, provided an update on the journal’s development and expressed a keen interest in broadening collaborations with prominent academics and scholars. Professor Su and the esteemed visitors commended OAE’s achievements and the transformative influence of its publishing ventures.
Throughout the discussions, Professor Su imparted strategic guidance aimed at amplifying the development of OAE Publishing and refining the operations of CS. He advocated for robust intellectual property safeguards, a more extensive integration of digital publishing technologies, and a broader network of international academic collaborations. As Editor-in-Chief, he expressed his commitment to elevating the journal’s influence and motivating the editorial team in their pursuit of excellence. Other visitors also proposed invaluable suggestions to enhance the journal’s competitiveness, enrich its content diversity, strengthen the editorial board, and improve service standards, each providing insights into OAE’s future expansion.
