Special Issue Introduction

The research on the “High-performance hydrogenation catalysis” aims to develop the efficient catalysts and elucidate the structure-performance relationship in a series of hydrogenation reactions.

The main research directions include:
● Optimizing the structure of active sites for hydrogenation;
● Exploring the interactions between metals and supports through interface engineering to enhance catalyst stability and efficiency;
● Refining synthesis processes to achieve efficient catalyst preparation;
● Combining experimental and theoretical approaches to clarify the mechanisms of hydrogenation reactions, thereby guiding the design and improvement of catalysts;
● Applying these high-performance catalysts in chemical, energy, and environmental fields to assess their industrial potential.

This research is dedicated to advancing hydrogenation catalysis technology, providing technical support for more efficient and energy-saving industrial processes.
