Special Issue Introduction
Noise is an inevitable aspect of real-world systems, presenting significant signal processing and control challenges. In many practical scenarios, such as communication networks, manufacturing processes, autonomous vehicles, and biomedical systems, noisy environments can degrade performance, reduce reliability, and impede accurate decision-making. It has been widely demanded for managing these challenges to improve signal processing and control techniques for the noisy systems in academic research and applications.
This Special Issue aims to explore cutting-edge research and developments in the emerging engineering systems, necessitating advanced signal processing and control techniques specifically designed to mitigate the effects of noise in various applications. It provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to disseminate their latest findings, share insights, and advance the state-of-the-art in mitigating the impact of noise on system performance. We eagerly anticipate receiving high-quality submissions and fostering interdisciplinary discussions to address the complex challenges induced by noisy environments.
Scope (not limited) of the Special Issue:
1. Noise modelling and characterisation;
2. Signal processing techniques;
3. Control strategies for noisy systems;
4. Integration of signal processing and control;
5. Adaptive and robust filtering and control;
6. Neurocomputing and intelligent enhanced noise cancellation and control;
7. Applications.
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original research articles, reviews, and case studies addressing the themes. Submissions should adhere to the journal's guidelines and undergo rigorous peer review to ensure the quality and relevance of the contributions.
