Mini-invasive Surgery (MIS) is a prestigious, open-access journal recognized internationally and indexed in ESCI and Scopus. With its first impact factor anticipated in 2025, the journal is dedicated to advancing the field of minimally invasive surgery. Qualifications
- Are under 40 years old and hold a PhD degree.
- Have a strong academic background or professional experience in areas such as: endoscopy and other minimally invasive procedures, including general surgery, urology, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, trauma surgery, breast surgery, transplant surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, cosmetic surgery and otolaryngology.
- Exhibit a proactive approach, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively within a dynamic editorial team.
- Have published at least five academic papers in reputable journals in this field within the past three years.
- Previous editorial or publishing experience with SCI journals is a plus, though not a requirement.
- Experience in editing and reviewing academic papers in English.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English for effective international communication.
- Experience with conference presentations or surgical instruction (preferred).
Responsibilities
1. Academic Support: Review and provide constructive feedback on submitted manuscripts.
2. Learning & Collaboration: Engage in Editorial Board meetings, explore emerging research trends, and contribute innovative ideas.
3. Individual Contribution: Submit a manuscript within the first year and provide strategic input on journal development during the second year. Each term lasts for two years, with an option to renew.
