Welcome Prof. Keping Yu to Join Intelligence & Robotics as Associate Editor
The Editorial Office of Intelligence & Robotics (IR) is thrilled to welcome Prof. Keping Yu to its editorial board as Associate Editor. We are sincerely grateful for his trust and support. In this new role, Prof. Yu will contribute invaluable insights and guidance, helping to amplify the journal’s impact in the dynamic fields of intelligence and robotics.
Prof. Keping Yu serves as the Vice Director of the Institute of Integrated Science and Technology and Director of the Network Intelligence and Security Laboratory (YU Lab) at Hosei University, Japan.
Globally recognized for his groundbreaking contributions, Prof. Yu was named a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate™ in 2023 and ranked among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Elsevier and Stanford University from2022 to 2024. His accolades include the 5th Japan Research Front Award from Clarivate Analytics Japan, the Best Symposium Award at IWCMC 2023, the IEEE Outstanding Leadership Award at IEEE BigDataSE 2021, the 1st Place Best Paper Award from IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine in 2022, and several Best Paper Awards at IEEE ICFTIC 2021 and ITU Kaleidoscope 2020.
Prof. Yu's primary research interests span Network Intelligence and Security, the Internet of Things, Blockchain and Future Networks. He has authored over 200 peer-reviewed research papers and books, with more than 100 published in IEEE and ACM Transactions. Actively contributing to ITU-T and IRTF ICNRG standardization efforts, he has helped develop ITU-T Standards Y.3071 and Supplement 35. Additionally, he has served as Guest Editor for leading journals, including IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, and Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews. He has also chaired multiple international conferences, further establishing his leadership in the field.
Prof. Yu's involvement will bring a broader global perspective to the journal, strengthening IR's influence and visibility within the international research community. We eagerly anticipate the leadership and innovative contributions he will bring, furthering the journal’s mission and fostering exciting developments in the field.
