2016 Annual Report of OAE Publishing Inc.

Here is an overall review of the development of OAE Publishing Inc. in 2016 together with a summary of the key events in this year.

Plastic and Aesthetic Research (Print ISSN: 2347-9264; Online ISSN: 2349-6150) and Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation (Print ISSN: 2347-8659; Online ISSN: 2349-6142) were launched on June 27, 2014. On April 15, 2015, Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment (Print ISSN: 2394-4722; Online ISSN: 2454-2857) and Hepatoma Research (Print ISSN: 2394-5079; Online ISSN: 2454-2520) were launched. At that time, these four journals cooperated with Medknow Publications. During the cooperation, we aim to provide better service for authors, reviewers and readers. Therefore, we have launched our own platform.

In January, 2016, all these four journals (Plastic and Aesthetic Research, Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation, Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment and Hepatoma Research) terminated the cooperation with Medknow Publications. These four journals were successfully transferred to OAE Publishing Inc. Then, the frequency of Plastic and Aesthetic Research was changed from bimonthly to continuous publication. The periodicities of Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation, Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment and Hepatoma Research were changed from quarterly into continuous  publication. We've been accelerating the publication process and providing readers and authors with easy access to our articles soon after a rigorous peer review process is finished. OAE facilitates easier academic exchanges with standard publication ethics. Also, we use iThenticate to detect plagiarism. In September 2016, two academicians, Prof. Yan Sun and Prof. Dai-Ming Fan joined the Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment as Honorary-Editors-in-Chief. Prof. Shu-kui Qin, Vice-chairman of Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology, joined Hepatoma Research as Honorary-Editor-in-Chief. In October 2016, Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment started to use ScholarOne system. In November 2016, OAE became a member of European Association of Science Editors. Also, we established cooperation with The Charlesworth Group. All published articles have undergone professional language editing.
   In December 2016, OAE started to launch Vessel Plus, Stomatological Disease and Science, Mini-invasive Surgery and Journal of Unexplored Medical Data.

With the year 2017 coming, we look forward to continuing to provide high quality scientific research to our readers and better service for scholars.
