Carbon Footprints Accepted for Inclusion in Scopus
We are delighted to announce that on May 12, 2025, Carbon Footprints (CF ) was officially accepted for inclusion in Scopus, one of the world’s most prestigious and comprehensive abstract and citation databases for peer-reviewed literature.
This important milestone marks a new chapter in CF ’s development, underscoring our journal’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, rigorous peer review, and impactful contributions to the field of carbon footprint research. Inclusion in Scopus will enhance the visibility, accessibility, and citation potential of the journal’s content, offering our authors and readers expanded opportunities for global engagement and influence.
Since its inception, CF has served as a dedicated platform for the dissemination of high-quality research aimed at deepening both quantitative and qualitative understanding in areas such as:
• Greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions (CO2, CH4, N2O, particulate matter, etc.);
• Low-carbon energy transitions and related technologies;
• Interactions among carbon, energy use, air pollutants, and socio-environmental systems.
The journal shines a light on the patterns, drivers, and mitigation pathways of carbon and pollutant footprints across natural, urban, industrial, and economic systems. Indexing in Scopus affirms the journal’s scientific relevance and the scholarly value of its content.
