The First CiteScore for the Journal of Mini-invasive Surgery Released by Scopus
We are delighted to announce that Mini-invasive Surgery (MIS, ISSN: 2574-1225, Online) has received the first CiteScore in the recently released 2022 Scopus CiteScores [Figure 1]. The journal is now ranked 339 out of 495 in the field of Surgery (Q3). We are proud to see the impactful contributions of MIS in the field of minimally invasive surgery through its high-quality content published in open access.

Scopus introduced CiteScores 12 years ago as a powerful tool for evaluating research impact and influence. With over 28,100 active titles from more than 7,000 publishers spanning 333 disciplines, Scopus CiteScore metrics provide comprehensive insights. CiteScore measures the average citations received per document over a four-year period and is widely recognized in the research community.
