Warmest Congratulations for the Successful Holding of the Chemical Synthesis International Webinar on Advances in Materials for Sustainable Energy 2024 in Shanghai, China

From May 18 to 20, 2024, the International Webinar on Advances in Materials for Sustainable Energy was held at the UNESCO Teacher Education Center in Shanghai, China. The event was co-organized by Northeast Normal University, Wuhan University of Technology, Jilin University, Shanghai Normal University, and Chemical Synthesis (CS, ISSN:2769-5247). It was hosted by the Key Laboratory of Polyoxometalate and Reticular Materials Chemistry of the Ministry of Education, the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Technology for Materials Synthesis and Processing, and the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis & Preparative Chemistry and the Key Laboratory of Resource Chemistry of the Ministry of Education.

This webinar brought together experts and scholars from leading universities and research institutes worldwide, including seven academicians. It focused on "sustainable energy materials" and discussed three main topics: "synthesis of lattice and porous materials", "synthesis of biomimetic composites", and "energy storage and conversion". The conference explored new ideas, fields, and trends in developing sustainable energy materials. It featured 54 presentations and was live-streamed through multiple social media platforms, attracting over 110,000 views.
