Chemical Synthesis Emerging Scientist Award | Recognizing Innovation and Excellence

Young scientists are at the forefront of technological innovation, breaking academic barriers and pushing the boundaries of knowledge. To encourage and support promising early-career researchers, Chemical Synthesis (CS, ISSN: 2769-5247) is officially launching the CS Emerging Scientist Award. This award aims to provide a platform for young scholars to showcase their innovative achievements and contribute to scientific advancement.

Keynote Presentation at the Annual Chemical Synthesis Interdisciplinary Forum
Application Period: March 15, 2025 – May 15, 2025 (Deadline: 23:59, Beijing)

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be early-career researchers in the field of chemistry who have independently made significant or widely recognized innovative research or translational contributions, advancing scientific and technological progress in chemistry. Candidates must have been born on or after January 1, 1985.

Application Requirements:

1. Curriculum Vitae (up to 3 pages), including a summary of scientific contributions (max. 200 words).
2. Three letters of recommendation from senior scientists.
3. Five representative publications as a corresponding author, each with a summary of no more than 100 words.
4. Complete list of academic publications as a corresponding author from 2020 to 2024.
5. Description of research translation achievements (each within 200 words) with supporting documentation.
6. Engagement with Chemical Synthesis, including contributions to journal initiatives, special issue organization, and research planning.
7. Additional supporting documents (optional).

Selection Process:

Preliminary Review: Verification of application materials to ensure eligibility.
Scientific Evaluation: Assessment of the applicant’s research contributions.
Nomination Process: Shortlisting of 8 candidates, followed by further selection of 6 finalists.
Final Selection: Two awardees will be chosen and publicly announced.
