Bio
Dr. Hope is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is the Program Director for the New Hanover Regional Medical Center Residency Program in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is the past President of the Americas Hernia Society and is a Board Member of the Americas Hernia Society Quality Collaborative Foundation. His research interest include hernia surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and surgical education publishing over 80 peer review articles and 12 book chapters related to these topics. He is the American Editor in Chief for the International Journal of Abdominal Wall and Hernia Surgery and was the Editor of the textbook Hernia.
