Bio
Andrea Belli MD, PhD, is a staff surgeon at the Abdominal Oncology Department – Service of HPB surgical Oncology - of the National Cancer Center, IRCCS, Fondazione G. Pascale of Naples, Italy. He received his medical degree at the University Federico II of Naples and completed the residency in general surgery at the same University. He earned his PhD in Surgery and Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Diseases at the University of Verona, Italy. He previously worked as a research fellow at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, Catalunya-Spain and at the Henri Mondor Hospital of Paris, France. He is author/coauthor of more than 80 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, copious of abstracts and presentations at national and international meetings. He has the national habilitation for Associate Professor in General surgery and he is a peer reviewer for several medical journals including British Journal of Surgery, HBSN, Oncotarget, BMC Surgery, Updates in Surgery, International Surgery, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases International.
