Abdullah YILDIZBASI is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara, TURKEY and Assistant Teaching Professor in Operations and Industrial Engineering Department at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, USA. He earned a master's degree in Engineering Management from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Turkey. Prof. Yildizbasi has made significant contributions to the field, authoring over 25 journal articles and 50 conference papers that focus on the circular economy, blockchain in supply chains, operations research, and sustainability.
His works, which has been cited approximately 1000 times, is featured in reputable journals, underscoring his role in advancing the integration of technology into supply chain management. As an educator, he teaches courses such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Prescriptive Analytics, Statistical Quality Control, and Logistic Management. He employs dynamic methods and modern technologies to enrich the learning experience, demonstrating his commitment to advancing both the theoretical and practical aspects of industrial engineering.

Asst. Prof. Yanji Duan
Yanji Duan is an Assistant Professor of Logistics in the Coggin college of business at the University of North Florida. She received her PhD in Supply Chain Management from the University of Arkansas.
Her research explores how firms can implement emerging technologies to enhance supply chain transparency and examines the impact of sustainability-related issues on various stakeholders within the supply chain. Her research has been published in various supply chain and operational journals including the Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Logistics Management, and International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management. Her published papers have received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Paper Award from the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, and the Best Supply Chain Paper Award at the Academy of Management's annual meetings. She also serves as a member of the editorial review boards for several leading journals in operations and supply chain management. She can be reached at yanji.duan@unf.edu

Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Ho Technical University, Ho, Ghana.Matthew Quayson holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering (Supply Chain option) from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, PR China. Currently, he is a lecturer in the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Ho Technical University, Ghana. He is interested in digital technologies (Blockchain, industry 4.0, Big data) applications for Social good in sustainable supply chain management in emerging economies, especially in the cocoa supply chain. Some of his papers have appeared in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Sustainable Production and Consumption, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Production Economics, IEEE Engineering Management Review and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. He contributed a chapter, “Sustainable Performance of African Firms in Global Value Chain” to the book “African and Sustainable Global Value Chain” published by Springer Nature. He has attended and presented papers at many workshops and summits. He presented a paper entitled “Blockchain for Social Good: Evidence from Individual and Corporate Perspectives in Africa” at the first Global Supply Chain Summit in Africa organized by the Center for Applied Research on Innovation in Supply Chain- Africa (CARISCA) of Arizona State University, USA and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.
