Yang Xie

Dr. Yang Xie is currently an Associate Professor and doctorate supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Beihang University. She holds a medical doctorate from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Environmental Economics at the National Institute for Environmental Studies in Japan. She is a youth member of the Chinese Optimal Law Coordination and Economic Mathematics Research Association. Xie Yang’s research focuses on developing the state-of-the-art integrated assessment models to find out the relationship between health impacts and climate mitigation, air pollution control as well as economic development from local to global scale. Her work aims to estimate the cost and benefit of public policy combining epidemiology, econometrics and CGE model. Her research could provide decision-support tools to the policy-makers to evaluate the consequences of each policy action in China.

Jiashuo Li

Dr. Jiashuo Li graduated from Peking University. He is now a professor at Blue and Green Development School, Shandong University (Weihai) and Young Taishan Scholar of Shandong Province. His research focuses on greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutant accounting and mitigation strategies, Input-output analysis and environmental impacts analysis for energy systems. He has published over 40 papers in JCR Q1 and Q2 peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature communications, One Earth, ES&T, Earth’s Future, Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy and Energy Policy, with an H index of 28 (Google Scholar). 10 of his articles were listed in the ESI highly cited papers or ESI hot papers, and two were listed in Elsevier Most Cited Articles. He is the PI of a NSFC and provincial level research projects. He was awarded the 2016 Young Scholars Outstanding Paper Award of the Regional Science Association of China, the Innovation award of Peking University.
