Topic: Green Building and Carbon Reduction Research – from Buildings to Districts

Green building technologies are pivotal in achieving carbon neutrality in buildings, as they offer avenues for renewable energy generation, improved energy efficiency, and energy flexibility. These technologies are not confined to individual buildings but extend to district-level applications, fostering a holistic approach to reducing carbon emissions. The objective of this Special Issue is to enhance our understanding and knowledge of green building technologies for carbon reduction, spanning from individual buildings to district or urban scales. The issue serves as a platform for researchers and practitioners to share recent advancements, best practices, and lessons learned from the integration of sustainable building technologies.
