Qualifications
• Hold a Ph.D. or an academic title of Lecturer, Associate Professor, Researcher, or higher.
• Actively engaged in cutting-edge research in human/animal microbiology or related fields, with high-quality publications as a first or corresponding author.
• Candidates with strong research capabilities and a commitment to contributing time and effort to the journal will be given priority.
• Prior experience as a reviewer or board member for an international journal is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Manuscript Solicitation: Assist in soliciting, organizing, and planning Special Issues.
• Peer Review: Participate in the peer review process to uphold publication quality.
• Journal Promotion: Promote the journal’s content through academic conferences, social media, and other platforms to enhance its impact.
• Academic Engagement: Attend Early Career EBM meetings and assist in organizing related academic events.

The journal published its first issue in March 2022 and is led by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Marco Ventura from the University of Parma, Italy. MRR is currently indexed in ESCI, PMC, Scopus, CAS, and Lens, and is expected to receive its first impact factor in June 2025.
