To further enhance the growth and international reputation of our journal while fostering a dynamic platform for academic exchange among outstanding young scholars worldwide, Journal of Materials Informatics is delighted to announce the start of recruitment for Junior Editorial Board Members. We warmly invite exceptional young experts and scholars to join us in driving the development of materials informatics.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Ph.D. or a title of Lecturer, Associate Professor/Researcher, or higher.
  • Be actively engaged in frontline research, with high-quality publications in materials informatics or related fields as the first or corresponding author.
  • Alignment with the journal's development direction and a willingness to dedicate time and effort to its growth.
  • Experience as a reviewer or board member for international journals is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manuscript Solicitation:  Engage in soliciting, organizing manuscripts, and planning Special Issues.
  • Peer Review: Participate in peer-review processes to uphold publishing quality.
  • Promotion: Leverage professional conferences and social media platforms to promote the journal and its articles within the academic community.
  • Academic Activities: Attend Editorial Board meetings and collaborate in organizing or co-organizing academic conferences relevant to the journal.

Selection Process: Initial CV Screening → Expert Committee Selection → One-on-one Communication → Confirmation and Public Announcement.
