Journal of Environmental Exposure Assessment (JEEA)---Recruitment for Junior Editorial Board Members
Journal of Environmental Exposure Assessment (JEEA) is an international open-access, peer-reviewed, academic journal focused on all aspects of human exposure to organic and inorganic chemical contaminants. To further expand the journal's global reach, enhance its scholarly impact, and nurture new editorial talent, we are now recruiting Junior Editorial Board members from around the world.
The aim is to provide a platform for young scholars in this field to share their research findings and engage in academic discussions with peers. Junior Editorial Board members will have the opportunity to work with world-renowned experts to build an international academic platform and promote global collaborations.
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Strong research background in environmental exposure science, with a PhD or a professorship.
- At least five publications as first or corresponding author in internationally renowned journals in the past three years.
- Alignment with the journal's development goals and a willingness to dedicate time and effort to its advancement.
- Previous experience as a reviewer or Editorial Board member for international journals is preferred.
2. Responsibilities
- Contribute at least one high-quality original research article or review article to the journal during the tenure;
- Participate in the peer-review process at least twice a year, adhering to the journal’s quality control procedures;
- Publicize and promote the journal at academic conferences and among peers;
- Provide suggestions and guidance for the development of the journal.
3. Benefits

- Opportunities to participate in or host annual meetings and online seminars organized by the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board members with support from the Editorial Office;

- Potential promotion to the Editorial Board based on contributions to the journal;
- A certificate of appointment issued by the Editor-in-Chief.
4. Term and Evaluation of Junior Editorial Board Members
- Term of appointment: Two years. Following the completion of annual tasks, new members will be selected dynamically.
- Evaluation: The Editorial Board will conduct an annual evaluation based on the work plan formulated at the beginning of each year. Candidates with outstanding performance will be re-elected.
