Bio
Daniele is a Full Professor of Human Nutrition and the Head of the School of Advanced Studies on Food and Nutrition at the University of Parma, Italy. He is also the scientific director of the NNEdPro Global Center for Nutrition and Health and a Visiting Professor at the School of Biomedical Sciences, Ulster University, UK. He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Food Sciences and Nutrition (Taylor&Francis). He is a proud Commendatore (Commander) of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, and he is proudly growing a team of brilliant scientists. Daniele Del Rio was nominated among the highly cited researchers since 2020 (Top 1% by citation per field and year by Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science).
