October 2021: Microstructures obtained the ISSN 2770-2995 (Online).

September 2021: The inaugural issue of Microstructures was officially published: Volume 1, Issue 1 (2021).

May 2021: Microstructures  Journal was officially released online. Professor Shujun Zhang from the University of Wollongong, Australia, was appointed as the Editor-in-Chief, with Professors Jun Chen and Xiaozhou Liao serving as the Executive Editors.
