Bio
Dr. Yi Yang is a professor at the College of Environment and Ecology, Chongqing University, and a doctoral supervisor. He was trained in industrial ecology, with a focus on life cycle assessment and environmental input-output modeling. In the current stage of research, his main focus is on the sustainability of agri-food systems, sustainable dietary transition, the effects of climate change on agricultural systems, climate change mitigation, and environmental benefits of emerging technologies. His articles have been published in internationally renowned environmental journals such as Nature Sustainability, Nature Food, and Environmental Science & Technology. He is also an associate editor at International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment, Biofuel Research Journal, and Resources, Environment & Sustainability, and serves on the advisory board of Cell Reports Sustainability.
