Dr. Elvis Dartey Okoffo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS), the University of Queensland, Australia. He received his Ph.D. at QAEHS in 2021, focusing on the development of novel analytical methods and approaches to measure and understand the mass concentrations of micro/nanoplastics released into the Australian environment from municipal WWTPs. Elvis’s current research is focused on micro/nanoplastics fate and behavior in the environment and wastewater treatment, and developing novel sampling approaches and analytical techniques for monitoring micro/nanoplastics residues in environmental samples.
