Prof. Qian Sui received her bachelor and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, China, and now is the Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering at East China University of Science & Technology. Her research interests are the occurrence, behavior, and removal of emerging contaminants, such as pharmaceuticals and personal care products, endocrine disrupting chemicals, and micro-plastics in the emission sources, including wastewater treatment plants, landfills, livestock breeding plants, as well as various environmental media, e.g. surface water, groundwater, soil, sediments.
