National Distinguished Expert, Professor of Neurology, Doctoral Supervisor

Prof. Le is the Director of the Academic Committee of School of Medicine of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Director of Neurology Department & Institute in Sichuan Academy of Medical Science-Sichuan Provincial Hospital. He also works as Tenured Professor & Head of the top clinical discipline in Dalian Medical University.

He was a Professor of Neurology and Director of the Parkinson's Disease Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine. He also worked as the Director of the Institute of Neurology at Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine and the Executive Chairman of the Biomedical Institute of Shanghai Ruijin Hospital.

Prof. Le interests in the research on pathogenesis, biomarkers and the targeted therapy of neurodegenerative diseases. He has published more than 300 papers in internationally important academic journals, such as Nature Genetics, Science, PNAS, Autophagy, Brain, JAMA, Lancet Neurology, etc. The papers were cited over 20,000 times and he has been chosen into the list of Highly Cited Chinese Researchers in the field of Neuroscience by Elsevier for 8 years. Prof. Le held 3 Key Programs and 5 General Programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, held/participated in 4 Key Projects of Chinese National Programs for Fundamental Research and Development (973 program) and Chinese National Programs for High Technology Research and Development (863 program).

Minming Zhang

Professor & Director, Department of Radiology, The Second Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine

Topic: Application of MRI in early stage of aging brain diseases
Prof. Zhang is a professor at Zhejiang University School of Medicine, Chief Physician, Honorary Director of the Radiology Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital, and the Director of the Joint Laboratory of Clinical Imaging. Her main research interests are multimodal MR studies of brain aging and neurodegenerative diseases. Prof. Zhang has successively presided over one project of the National High-tech Research and Development Program (863 Plan), one task of the National Science and Technology Support Plan of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan," one project of the National Key R&D Plan of the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan," nine projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Several provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, published more than 200 papers in well-known international academic journals such as Radiology, NeuroImage, Cerebral Cortex, Human Brain Mapping, etc.

Topic: PET/MR Imaging: New Frontier in Alzheimer's Disease
Prof. Lu's professional direction is brain function and molecular imaging. Prof. Lu is the National-level Talent Support Program Leading Talents in Science and Technology Innovation and also gained the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Youth Fund. She is a member of the Chinese Medical Association's Radiology Branch, Vice Chairman of the China Medical Imaging Technology Research Association's Radiology Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, Vice Chairman of the Radiology Branch of the Beijing Medical Association, and Vice President of the Radiology Branch of Beijing Medical Doctor Association.
