Soft robots, characterized by their adaptable structures and dexterous capabilities, have emerged as a dynamic solution to intricate challenges encountered in minimally invasive procedures, patient rehabilitation, targeted drug delivery, and beyond. Their unique ability to navigate complex anatomical pathways and confined spaces offers unparalleled opportunities to enhance medical interventions, ultimately leading to improved outcomes and patient well-being. The issue will cover a wide range of topics, including but are not limited to:

● Novel designs and mechanisms of soft medical robots;

● Advanced control strategies for precise manipulation and navigation;

● Real-time imaging and sensing techniques for improved situational awareness;

● Human-robot interaction and collaboration in medical scenarios;

● Clinical evaluations showcasing the effectiveness and safety of soft robots.
