Topic: Soft Microfluidics for Biomedical Applications

Microfluidics has attracted increasing interest over recent years due to its advantages, including low device cost, high integration, and diverse functionality. Commonly, the microfluidic devices are made in soft materials (e.g., polydimethylsiloxane and polymer films) through microfabrication techniques. The use of these soft materials has facilitated the widespread application of soft microfluidics in wearable biomedical devices, soft robotics, flexible sensors, and more.

This Special Issue aims to showcase advancements and innovations in developing soft microfluidics for various biomedical applications. We invite researchers to contribute original research articles, reviews, and perspectives displaying novel functionalities, new fabrication techniques, innovative applications, and fundamentals of soft microfluidics.

Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
