Special Issue Introduction

Catalysis remains a cornerstone of modern science and technology, driving advancements in energy conversion, environmental sustainability, and chemical manufacturing. As we enter a new era, the challenge lies in maintaining the core principles of catalytic science while embracing cutting-edge innovations to address urgent global needs, such as carbon neutrality, green synthesis, and sustainable fuel production. The 22nd National Catalysis Conference highlights this dynamic interplay between tradition and innovation, aiming to foster new perspectives and transformative research in the field.


This Special Issue seeks to showcase pioneering work in catalytic materials, reaction mechanisms, and industrial applications. We welcome original research articles, reviews, and short communications covering key topics, including:

● Advanced catalytic processes for carbon transformation and utilization;

● Hydrogen production, storage, and utilization technologies;
