Special Issue Introduction

Electrochemical energy storage and conversion technologies, such as batteries and electrolytic cells, are at the heart of today's energy landscape. They support the development of e-mobility and renewable energy while providing critical support for smart grids. The continuous advancement of these technologies will lead to more efficient and reliable energy storage solutions, promoting the global transition to sustainable energy. This Special Issue invites all types of manuscripts, including Research Articles, Mini-Reviews/Reviews, Short Communications, Highlights, etc. The topics covered are extensive and include, but are not limited to:

1) Progress in the application of solar cells, lithium-ion batteries, flow cells, sodium-sulfur batteries, lead-acid batteries, lead-carbon batteries, zinc-bromine batteries, and other chemical energy storage products;

2) Measures to enhance charge storage and the latest research findings;

3) Applications of energy and electronic materials;

4) The internal mechanisms of energy conversion and storage.
