Special Issue Introduction
The rapid evolution of multi-agent systems (MAS) and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) have significantly influenced various domains, including robotics, autonomous systems, smart cities, and collaborative networks. As these systems become more complex and integrated, ensuring their efficient operation, security, and control is essential for their successful deployment and longevity. MAS faces unique challenges such as coordination, communication, decision-making under uncertainty, and vulnerability to cyber threats. Addressing these challenges requires innovative approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, and cutting-edge research to unlock their full potential and enable real-world applications.
This Special Issue aims to explore the latest research and developments in learning, security, control techniques and challenges related to MAS. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
● AI-Driven Cybersecurity in MAS;
● Cooperative and Competitive MAS;
● Security Challenges in Distributed MAS;
● Reinforcement Learning and Adaptive Control in MAS;
● Game Theory Applications for Security and Control in MAS;
● Intrusion Detection and Mitigation in Multi-agent Environments;
● Privacy Preservation in MAS;
● Control and Coordination in Autonomous Multi-agent Networks;
● Machine Learning Approaches for MAS Security and Optimization;
● Fault Tolerant and Resilient Control Systems for MAS.
We invite academics, research students, and professionals to submit their original work. Extended conference papers with at least 50% new content are also welcome.
