Complex Engineering Systems Best Paper Award

We are delighted to announce the Complex Engineering Systems Best Paper Award, a distinguished recognition designed to honor and promote exceptional contributions to academic research. Led by the esteemed Editor-in-Chief, the Selection Committee of Complex Engineering Systems will carefully select the Best Papers. Each year, two outstanding papers will be bestowed with this award. The award will be awarded annually and the winner will be announced by February of the following year.

Eligibility:
Papers published in Complex Engineering Systems between January 2023 and December 2025.

Selection Criteria:
The Award Committee will consider scientific merit, significance to the research community, broad impact, creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts, clarity of presentation, the citation (Web of Science) and download rates.

Prizes:  
1. Bonus: first prize $400, second prize $300;
2. An electronic certificate signed by the Editor-in-Chief;
3. Free APC for their next publication in the Journal;
4. The research achievements will be broadly promoted through all platforms of the Journal and OAE Publishing Inc.

Complex Engineering Systems Best Reviewer Award

To recognize the tireless efforts of Complex Engineering Systems reviewers to ensure quality control of manuscripts, we are pleased to announce the Complex Engineering Systems Best Reviewer Awards. The award will be awarded annually and the winner will be announced by February of the following year.

Selection Criteria:
1. Review quality based on the rating provided in MESAs;
2. Number of review reports;
3. Review speed.

Prizes:
1. Starting in 2024, each recipient will be awarded $300;
2. An electronic certificate signed by the Editor-in-Chief;
3. Free APC for their next publication in the journal.

Eligibility Requirements:
1. Papers published in the journal from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022;
2. Manuscript type: Original Article and Review Article.

Selection Criteria:
The award committee will consider scientific merit, significance to the research community, broad impact, creativity of the study design or uniqueness of the approaches and concepts, clarity of presentation, the citation (Web of Science) and download rates in 2023.

Prizes:
1. A signed award certificate with the name of the award, the name of the paper, and the names of the authors of the paper;
2. Free APC for their next publication in the journal;
3. Announce their achievements on the website by February 2024.
