Special Issue Introduction

Robust control schemes have attracted significant attention over the past few decades. Adaptive control models are known to be powerful tools for representing complex dynamical systems, and many robust control methods have been successfully applied to the engineering field. Recently,  new advancements in modeling, control, and monitoring have emerged within adaptive control systems, including stochastic control, intelligent control, and data-driven control, among others. We invite authors to contribute original research and review articles related to all aspects of modeling, control methods, optimization theories, monitoring, signal processing and fault detection for complex dynamical systems with adaptive control algorithms. All submissions should present original ideas and innovative approaches. Particular interest will be given to papers focusing on the development of engineering applications. Submissions addressing computational issues, search strategies, and modeling and solution techniques for practical problems are also welcome.

Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to:
● Robust control and optimization of intelligent systems;
● Robust and adaptive learning control schemes;
● Robust neural network modeling, control and optimization;
● Robust fuzzy modeling, control and optimization;
● Robust Control and Signal Processing;
● Robust estimation and fault detection algorithms;
● Robust fault tolerant control and optimization.
