Special Issue Introduction

Nanotechnology offers novel approaches for diagnostics, drug delivery, and therapeutic interventions targeting conditions such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other neurodegenerative disorders. This Special Issue aims to explore the transformative potential of nanomaterials in addressing neurodegenerative diseases. Contributions will cover advancements in nanomaterial design, applications in disease modeling and treatment, and emerging trends that promise to reshape the landscape of neurodegenerative disease management.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery across the blood-brain barrier;
- Nanosensors for early diagnosis and monitoring of neurodegenerative diseases;
- Nano-based therapies for mitigating neuroinflammation and neuronal damage;
- Biocompatibility, safety, and regulatory aspects of nanomaterial applications in neurology.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit original research articles, reviews, and perspectives that highlight the latest developments and future prospects of nanotechnology in combating neurodegeneration.
