Celebrating 33 Academic Editors of Plastic and Aesthetic Research Journal Named Among the “World's Top 2% Scientists 2024”
On September 16, 2024, Stanford University and Elsevier released the seventh edition of the "World's Top 2% Scientists 2024" list. The list is based on a systematic analysis of citation data from the Scopus database, which encompasses nearly 7 million scientists worldwide and identifies the top 2% with the highest impact. It includes two categories of rankings: "Career-long Impact" and "Single-Year Impact". We are excited to congratulate 33 Editorial Board members of the Plastic and Aesthetic Research (PAR) journal who were included in this prestigious list. Among them, 15 Academic Editors (14 Editorial Board members, 1 Junior Editorial Board member) are featured in both “Career-long Impact” and “Single-Year Impact” rankings, 18 Academic Editors (13 Editorial Board members, 5 Junior Editorial Board members) are recognized in the “Single-Year Impact” ranking. The "World's Top 2% Scientists" list is based on data from the Scopus database. It takes into six key factors: total citations (distinguishing between self-citations and external citations), Hirsch H-index, Schreiber Hm-index adjusted for co-authorship, and contributions as sole, first, or lead author. The list covers 22 fields and 174 subfields. The recognition of our Editorial Board members and Junior Editorial Board members underscores their exceptional contributions to academia and highlights the journal’s significant impact on aesthetic research.
