New Year Message from Editor-in-Chief

Dear readers and members of the Editorial Board,

Happy New Year!

This has been a challenging year for everyone. However, despite the challenges of the pandemic, our journal has made significant progress. In 2020, we were fortunate to receive the support from the Editorial Board Members, Guest Editors, authors, reviewers, readers and all the contributors. Thanks to everyone’s contribution, Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment (JCMT) has been steadily developing. As the Editor-in-Chief, I greatly appreciate everyone's dedication.

In 2020, JCMT published 55 manuscripts and established 31 Special Issues. Besides, 37 internationally-recognized researchers joined our Editorial Board, and nearly 100 scholars helped us with peer-review of manuscripts. Through our insistence on high-quality publications, manuscripts published in JCMT have been widely cited despite the fact that we haven’t yet applied for indexing JCMT in major citation databases. We welcome more and more researchers in the field to join and support us in the coming year. In the new year, JCMT is planning to recruit 80 junior faculties as youth Editorial Board members. If you are interested in contributing to this project, you are most welcome to join us. We are dedicated to collecting high-quality, innovated original articles in a continuous basis while providing high quality editorial services for our prospective authors.

Our Editorial Office will continue to offer services with tremendous professionalism and dedication. Our journal occupies a unique space in translation and cancer research. With quality, rigorously peer-reviewed manuscripts, we will bring it to a place of international prominence.
