Congratulations to Academician Mingyuan He for Winning the "China-France Chemistry Lectureship Award 2023"

The Editorial Office of Chemical Synthesis proudly congratulates Academician Mingyuan He of East China Normal University on receiving the prestigious "China-France Chemistry Lectureship Award 2023". This honor, jointly established by the Chinese Chemical Society and the French Chemical Society, underscores Professor He’s exceptional contributions to the field of green chemistry and his role in fostering Sino-French academic exchange and collaboration.

In addition to this accolade, Professor He serves as the Honorary President of the journal's two flagship academic conferences, further strengthening the profound connection between his pioneering contributions and the journal's mission to advance chemical synthesis.

Mingyuan He

A distinguished Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Mingyuan He is a leading figure in green chemistry. He is the Chief Scientist of the National Green Chemistry Program and Chairman of the Expert Committee on Green Catalysis. He is also a Lifetime Professor at East China Normal University and previously served as Chief Engineer at the Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing.

Professor He has made significant contributions to the scientific community, holding roles such as Standing Committee Member and Deputy Director of the Chemistry Division of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Presidium Member of the Academy, Council Member of the International Catalysis Society, and Council Member and Vice President of the International Zeolite Association.

About the China-France Chemistry Lectureship Award

Jointly established by the Chinese Chemical Society and the French Chemical Society in 2013, the China-France Chemistry Lectureship Award recognizes scientists who have made outstanding contributions to chemistry and related fields and have promoted Sino-French academic exchange and collaboration.
