In honor of the remarkable achievements of women in science and to further promote gender equality in research, Cancer Drug Resistance (CDR) is proud to introduce a special, limited-time APC (Article Processing Charge) discount for female researchers.
This initiative not only recognizes the dedication of women in academia but also demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the participation of female scientists in high-impact research.

By offering financial relief on APCs, we aim to encourage more women to share their groundbreaking discoveries, particularly in cancer research, drug resistance, and other critical areas.

Who Is Eligible?
This initiative is open to all submissions where the first author or corresponding author is female.
💡 Two Ways to Save on APCs
1. Early Submission Discount (Full Manuscript)
Submit your full manuscript within the following time frames to enjoy an exclusive APC discount:

March 21 – March 31 | 40% OFF |
April 1 – April 8 | 30% OFF |
2. Lock in Your Discount Early (Manuscript Information Submission)
To provide more flexibility, we offer an alternative way to secure your APC discount in advance:
Simply submit your manuscript details (title, article type, abstract, and author information) by April 8, 2025, to the journal’s editorial office at 📧 editorial@cdrjournal.com, and receive a $400 APC reduction when you submit your full manuscript later.
📌 Important Notes:
• This discount remains valid until you submit your full paper, provided it is within a reasonable timeframe.
• If your final submission qualifies for a higher discount, the greater discount will be applied.
• The $400 discount cannot be combined with the percentage-based APC discounts for early full submissions.
Additional Benefits for Participating Authors
Beyond the APC reduction, CDR is offering exclusive value-added services to support female researchers:
1. Priority Peer Review
• All eligible submissions will receive accelerated peer review, with an aim to provide initial decisions within 4–6 weeks.
2. Increased Visibility & Promotion
• Published papers will be featured on the journal’s website, email newsletters, and social media platforms (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, WeChat, etc.) for broader exposure.
• Selected high-impact articles will receive special highlights in journal newsletters, boosting research visibility.
3. Exclusive Author Interviews & Webinars
• Selected female authors will be invited for online academic interviews or panel discussions, sharing their research journeys and groundbreaking discoveries.
• Featured researchers may also present at CDR-hosted online symposia, further increasing their academic influence.

🔹 Note: The APC discount will be applied only after the manuscript has successfully passed peer review and is accepted for publication.
