Dr. Mortazavi is a distinguished senior researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover in Germany, specializing in multiscale modeling, materials and systems for energy storage/conversion, and machine learning. He is a member of the editorial board for numerous journals and actively contributes as a reviewer for approximately 150 scholarly journals. With a robust academic background, he spent six years conducting postdoctoral research at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and Technische Universität Dresden before joining Leibniz Universität. He earned his Ph.D. in 2013 from the University of Strasbourg in collaboration with the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, focusing on the multiscale modeling of thermal and mechanical properties of nanostructured materials and polymer nanocomposites. Dr. Mortazavi's academic journey began with his Bachelor's and Master's studies in mechanical/manufacturing engineering, which he completed in 2005 and 2008, respectively.
