Bio
Chunyang Liao is currently a professor at Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences (RCEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his PhD degree from RCEES in 2007, followed by postdoctoral training at the Wadsworth Center, New York State Department of Health, New York, United States from 2009-2013. Thereafter, he became an Assistant Specialist at the University of California, Riverside, California, United States from 2014-2015. Dr. Liao moved to the current position in June 2015. His research mainly focuses on understanding the distribution, fate, and transport of legacy and emerging contaminants in the environment, as well as their toxicological effects. He has published more than 120 scientific papers in high impact journals such as Nature Sustainability, Nature Reviews Earth and Environment, Environmental Science & Technology, Environmental Health Perspectives, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, etc.
