Prof. Tieyu Wang received his PhD at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Prof. Wang has broad interest with ecological effects and risk induced by environmental pollutants, as well as ecological remediation and risk management. He aimed at contamination, distribution and transportation of pollutants (e.g. heavy metals, PFASs and PPCPs) around the coastal areas, to propose suggestions for management and control on these compounds, where associated with high speed urbanization regions. He has published more than 200 international and national peer review journal articles, with H index 43. He services as associate editor for three SCI journals including Frontiers in Marine Science, Regional Studies in Marine Science and Frontiers in Environmental Science. He was invited as special issue guest editor for Environmental Pollution, Environment International, Chemosphere and Science of the total Environment. He has been invited as reviewer for many international journals, such as Environmental Science and Technology, Environment International, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Environmental Pollution, Journal of Cleaner Production, Science of the Total Environment, Chemosphere, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment, Environmental Geochemistry and Health, Journal of Environmental Monitoring, etc. Prof. Tieyu Wang is an active scientist in the fields of ecology, environmental chemistry, environmental risk assessment and environmental management. He received a number of honors and awards such as the Lu Jiaxi Young Talent Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2008) , Young Scientist International Cooperation Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2012), Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress of Shandong Province (2016), Outstanding Member of Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2016), Science and Technology Development Award of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018) and Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Achievement Award of China (2019).
