Bio
Prof. Chongqing Wang received his PhD at the Central South University, China. He is a professor in Chemical Engineering at the Zhengzhou University in Zhengzhou, China. His academic background involves waste management, recycling of solid wastes and wastewater treatment. He has experience in extraction of valuable components from solid wastes, physical separation of different materials for recycling, and removing pollutants from wastewater treatment by adsorption or catalysis. He has published over 70 research papers on international peer-review journals, with H index 23 (Google Scholar). He has obtained 15 Chinese licensed patents. He is the partner of Advances in Cleaner Production Network, and the member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Air & Waste Management Association. He has been serving as Guest Editor-in-Chief of Environmental Research, Associate Editor of Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association, Advisory editorial board of Clean - Soil, Air, Water, editorial board member of Sustainability. He serves as reviewer for over 60 prestigious international journals and received the Certificate of Outstanding Contribution in reviewing from Journal of Hazardous Materials, Journal of Cleaner Production and Waste Management, and the Outstanding Reviewer Award of Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association. He is obtained Young Scientist Award from the VDGOOD Professional Association (India), Green Mine Youth Science and Technology Award (China), and Eni Award candidate (Italy). He is the Principal Investigator of 8 research projects from Chinese government, and serves as expert member of technology service group of China Association for Science and Technology, China Industry Technology Innovation Alliance of Nonferrous Metals and China Industry Technology Innovation Alliance of Renewable Resources. He also serves as committee member of international conferences.
