Bio
Dr. Wang held a BSc degree in chemical engineering from Malmö University, Sweden and a MSc in chemistry from Lund University, Sweden. He received his PhD in 2009 at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Science in Beijing, China under the supervision of Prof. Guibin Jiang. He thereafter continued researching in the same group as an assistant researcher and later promoted to an associate researcher. He is currently an Associate Professor at the MTM Research Centre in Örebro University, Sweden. He has a strong interest in utilizing multidisciplinary approaches including environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry, ecology and data science to investigate the source, distribution, fate and human exposure of organic contaminants in the natural and built environment. He has published more than 110 peer-reviewed papers in international journals.
