Bio
Prof. Jin Xie received his obtained his PhD degree in Organic Chemistry in 2013 under the direction of Prof. Chengjian Zhu. He worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the group of Prof. A. Stephen K. Hashmi at Heidelberg University since 2014. In July 2017, he was awarded Nanjing University Dengfeng Talents Plan and joined the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at NJU as an associate professor to start his independent career and was promoted to full professor in 2020. He received National Outstanding Youth Funds in 2021, 2020 NHU-CJC Innovation Award, Thieme Chemistry Journals Award in 2019, Jiangsu Funds for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2019 and Recruitment Program of Global Experts in 2017.
He has published more than 70 SCI papers in Nat. Chem., Nat. Commun., JACS, Angew. Chem., Chem, Chem. Rev., Chem.Soc. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res. with more than 4900 citations and an H index of 35 and also is the associate editor in Frontiers in Chemistry and Gold Bulletin.
Prof. Xie’s current research fields include the synthetic methodology in organic synthesis and advanced organic materials.
