Dr. Donglong Fu is a postdoctoral scholar at the California Institute of Technology.
He obtained his PhD degree from Utrecht University (with Prof. Bert M. Weckhuysen), The Netherlands in 2020. He holds a Master’s degree (2015) in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree (2012) in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Northwest University (China). After staying at Utrecht University as a postdoctoral scholar from Sep. 2019 to Dec. 2019, he joined the MED (Mark E. Davis) group at the California Institute of Technology as a postdoctoral scholar. He has received the prestigious “Chinese government award for outstanding self-finance students abroad” in 2020. He is now the member of American Chemical Society and American Institute of Chemical Engineer. He also serves as the reviewer of J. Catal., Chem. Eng. Sci. Chem. Commun., Microporous Mesoporous Mater., J. Energy Chem., etc.
He has published more than 25 SCI papers in Nat. Mat., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Catal., etc. with an H index of 15. He also holds 2 US patents (1st inventor) and 1 China patent (co-inventor). He has been the main researcher for more than 7 research and collaborative projects from both the academia and industry, including the prestigious ERC advanced grant and ERC proof of concept grant, etc.
