Collection Scope
The Special Collection “Advances in Electrochemical and Photoelectrochemical Approaches for Sustainable Energy and Green Chemistry” aims to highlight innovative research that leverages electrochemical and photoelectrochemical strategies to address pressing challenges in energy sustainability and green chemistry. This collection welcomes manuscripts on topics that include, but are not limited to, novel catalyst designs for energy conversion and storage, advanced electrode materials, innovative electrolytes for improved efficiency and selectivity, integrated photoelectrochemical systems for CO2 reduction and water splitting, and green synthesis pathways enabled by electrochemical techniques. Further, we encourage studies that explore reaction mechanisms, in situ/operando characterization techniques, and the development of scalable and sustainable technologies that align with circular economic principles.
Manuscripts that pass initial screening will be sent for external peer review.
