(B) PAI-1 inhibits eNOS, reducing NO bioavailability and promoting vascular stiffness in the endothelium. (C) PAI-1 amplifies senescence by increasing SASP factors (IL-6, IL-8, TGF-β, CXCL2), which exacerbate vascular dysfunction and aging.
