Senolytic therapies are often administered in an intermittent dosing paradigm composed of 2-6 cycles, each involving 1-7 days of high-dose treatment, followed by a 1-4 week rest period (off treatment), allowing for the suppression of excess cellular senescence without interfering with the basal levels and functions of senescent cells (A). Senomorphic therapies are often administered continuously at a low dose to suppress excess circulating SASP and SASP signaling while maintaining basal inflammation levels (B).
