(A) To assess the effects of panobinostat on MM cells, the cells were cultured for 72 h with different concentrations of the drug, and then the relative cell counts were evaluated. (B) U266 cells were treated with panobinostat for 24 h, and histone acetylation was evaluated. Statistical significance is denoted as **P < 0.01 and ****P < 0.0001 compared to the control. (C and D) MM cells were incubated with different concentrations of panobinostat for 48 or 72 h. Subsequently, cytotoxicity (C) and caspase 3/7 activity (D) were measured.
