Assoc. Prof. Xin Wang. M.D.

Biography:

Dr. Wang (M.D.) currently serves as an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor in Medicine from Sichuan University and he also completed a joint doctoral training program at the University of Chicago. Dr. Wang is a core member of the Pancreatic Surgery Research Group within the Youth Academic Research Society of the Chinese Society of Surgery and serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Robotic Surgery Group under the Surgical Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He is also a Youth Committee Member of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Group of the Pancreatic Surgery Specialty Committee under the Chinese Research Hospital Association and a member of the Minimally Invasive Diagnosis and Treatment Group of the Pancreatic Cancer Professional Committee under the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association. Additionally, Dr. Wang is the Secretary of the Pancreatic Disease Branch of the Sichuan Medical Doctor Association. He has led multiple research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department. His primary research focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases.

SuRong Hua

Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Beijing, China

Biography:

Dr. Hua (M.D.) is the Associate Professor and Associate Chief Physician at the Department of General Surgery, Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He is also a member and secretary of the Parathyroid and Bone Metabolism Diseases Professional Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association. Dr. Hua has published over 20 papers as the first author in SCI-indexed and core journals. He is also the primary inventor of 4 invention patents and over 10 utility model patents, 7 of which have been successfully commercialized into products or processes. In 2023, Dr. Hua won the world championship in the MICCAI Robotic Surgical Instrument Segmentation and Tracking Challenge. He is actively involved in public science communication and has appeared on multiple health education programs on CCTV, Beijing TV, and Zhejiang TV.

Xiaojian Li

School of Management, Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China

Biography:

Dr. Li is a Research Fellow, PhD Supervisor, and Associate Dean at the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology. In 2019, Dr. Li was selected for the Anhui Province High-Level Talent Program. He received the Distinguished Young Scholar Award from the Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation in 2021 and the Excellent Young Scientist Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2023. Dr. Li also leads several major research projects, including key projects and the Excellent Young Scientist Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as significant projects from Anhui Province, of which studies have been published as first or corresponding author in top journals such as Science Robotics, Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Robotics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics.

Hengrui Liang

Guangzhou Medical University Hospital, Guangzhou, China
Biography:

Dr. Liang graduated from Guangzhou Medical University. During his master's studies, he contributed to the publication of 84 SCI-indexed papers, including 39 as first author (including co-first authorship), with a total impact factor of 184. He has published 6 SCI papers with an impact factor greater than 10 and has co-authored 3 international expert consensus guidelines on non-intubated thoracic surgery. Dr. Liang currently serves as a Section Editor for Translational Lung Cancer Research (TLCR) and as a Guest Editor for Journal of Thoracic Disease (JTD). He has received numerous accolades at international conferences, including the ESMO Asia Merit Award, WCLC Travel Award, and the 2019 JLCS Travel Award, for his presentations at WCLC, ESTS, and ESMO Asia. Additionally, Dr. Liang has been recognized with over 20 honors during his academic career, such as the National Scholarship, Chinese College Students' Self-improvement Star, Nanshan Scholarship Special Award, and Guangdong Provincial Outstanding Student Award. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious AATS Thoracic Surgery Training Fellowship, one of only four recipients worldwide.
