Topic: Decoding Vascular Remodelling: Stem Cell Dynamics and Single-Cell Omics Insights
Guest Editor
Special Issue Introduction
This Special Issue aims to explore cutting-edge advances in vascular remodelling mechanisms, emphasizing the interplay between stem cell biology and single-cell omics technologies. We invite original research and reviews addressing:
● Cellular and molecular drivers of pathological/physiological vascular remodelling in atherosclerosis, hypertension, or aneurysms;
● Stem/progenitor cell plasticity in endothelial repair, neovascularization, and perivascular niche regulation;
● Single-cell resolution breakthroughs (transcriptomics, epigenomics, spatial omics) to map cellular heterogeneity, trajectory, and crosstalk in vascular tissues;
● Translational applications of stem cell therapies and omics-guided biomarkers for precision vascular medicine.
This issue will highlight integrative approaches bridging experimental models, multi-omics data, and clinical insights. Submissions addressing unresolved challenges—such as clonal stem cell behavior, dynamic cell-state transitions, or omics-driven therapeutic target discovery—are particularly encouraged. Interdisciplinary studies combining bioinformatics, advanced imaging, and functional validation will be prioritized.
