Frequent natural disasters seriously threaten human lives and property security, highlighting the growing importance of disaster reduction efforts. Emerging technologies, such as remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), big data, and artificial intelligence (AI), are increasingly important in disaster reduction. To delve deeper into the application of these technologies in mitigating disasters, we cordially invite you to contribute to this Special Issue.
